Digital photography and its associated software offer opportunities for creative change and for unlimited play. It also provides a means to go beyond the reproduction of reality to present emotional ideas and associations. For instance, the stonewall above was actually a sunny day image; I darkened it, removed some stones and inserted the eyes of a cat from another capture for a Hallowe'en image.
